La sua coralità ricorda effettivamente la fatica e la ripetitività del remare e, allo stesso tempo, la necessità di lavorare all'unisono per arrivare alla meta, al risultato.

Come per 'Road Not Taken' si riferisce al viaggio che ogni essere umano percorre nel flusso della vita e del libero arbitrio di cui dispone per cambiarlo attraverso le sue scelte.

Paradossalmente è interpretabile sia da un punto di vista religioso come l'invito ad affrontare le difficoltà con fiducia perchè si risolveranno svegliandosi 'dal sogno' come, al contrario, nella prospettiva nichilista di lasciarsi andare al proprio destino.
